In der Arbeit Cutting through Time beschäftige ich mich mit dem Begriff und der Bedeutung der Zeit.
Ich nähere mich dem Rätsel der Zeit durch assoziative Bilder, durch Bewegung oder stille Präsenz im Raum – in Räumen, in denen man angeblich Zeit erfahren kann. Oder ist es nur zeitlose Bewegung?
Es geht um subjektive Zeitwahrnehmung vs. objektive Zeit, lineare vs. zyklische Zeit und die Frage, ob Zeit überhaupt existiert, wenn die Vergangenheit nicht mehr ist, die Zukunft noch nicht da ist und das Jetzt bereits vorüber ist.

In the work Cutting through Time, I explore the concept and meaning of time.
I approach the enigma of time through associative images, through movement or silent presence in space – in spaces where one supposedly can experience time. Or is it merely timeless movement?
It deals with subjective perception of time vs. objective time, linear vs. cyclical time, and the question of whether time even exists when the past is no more, the future is not yet here, and the present has already passed.
